Another edition of Fantasy Football 2016. This article is mostly a ranking update. Not much movement up top. The Broncos Defense seen a big shift showing they are still the top defense in the league with a 22-0 shutout. The bottom players in the draft can be a key asset to your team and should never be overlooked.
My fantasy tip would be draft wisely in the bottom half of the draft board. Hold off drafting Team Defense and Kickers until last 2 or 3 rounds. The exception is if two of each position is required then 10th round and down is my suggestion. Don’t go on the Defense or Kicker phase just because some jackass drafts one early. He is reading out of a magazine or looking at projected points from a fantasy site.
Yes kickers score points but don’t let it be misleading, they are pretty even for the most part. I cannot give away all my tips, go with your gut on who is going to join your winning team. This year is amazing with the talent at WR. It is going to make for an interesting draft as most are RB heavy when drafting. So the strategy is going to be a little different this year.
Team Defense Tickler
Team Defense are starting to creep up on to the board as we see the products they are putting on the field. Denver and Seattle no doubt hold the torch in this draft season, but many others are respectful. In all Team Defense in my mind is the least exciting and important position on a Fantasy team. They do hold their own value but in my opinion not on draft day. The bad thing about that, they sure can make or break your day. So don’t go drafting the San Diego Chargers or Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Next post will have the bye weeks added as we inch closer.
